Shamokin decided to take a camping trip over the last few days. Sunday over night (probably more like early Monday morning) the cats got the side door open and all three went out. Calypso and Montana stayed close and were returned to the safety of the house before Chuck went to work. Shamokin on the other hand was not seen anywhere (except for the fact that the food I was puttin out kept disappearing) until 11:30 last night. I had left the side door open (with the other cats locked in a room and the kids in bed) for a few hours each night while we watched tv but I guess I just wasn’t staying up late enough.

The kids were convinced he was gone for good… And Mary thought it was because he thought we like Montana more.

So he’s back and getting an intense talking to from Calypso.
