I already almost do the Anti-Tom Wolfe thing with the "always black" wardrobe. Oh - and Boomsday was okay, but kind of forgettable; I can't remember much beyond the intial conceit, didn't leave much of an impression on me, but was one of the only "B" books I read last year. ah, buttons!
