Lately i’ve been looking for ways to keep a diaper on the baby… she is getting to be quite the expert at removing them. I really like colth diapers (inspite of having to deal with cleaning and storing them) but MOST of the covers/wraps for them leave much to be desired. Partly because of materials… and partly because Catherine is so darn good at undoing velcro.

Well I have recently begun using wool soakers. Chuck was (and is) skeptical…

I WISH he had been here to see the diaper I took off Catherine this morning…. the cloth diaper was SOAKED… the soaker, however, was completely dry… there was a small bit of dampness inside the soaker (where the REALLY wet diaper had been)…. but the outside was COMPLETELY dry.

Just because it’s newer doesn’t mean it’s better. (AND she can’t take them off!!!)
