We’ve already done the fireworks thing…. busch gardens has fire works every evening from the 1st thru the 4th… so we went on Thursday. We had a good time.

Cool surprise seeing Brent yesterday… hope the rest of histrip goes well.

So ugly, it’s cute! Budgett’s Frogs, named after the explorer who discovered them, are large carnivorous South American frogs. They can grow to be 5 and a a half inches in size, but since they aren’t very active they can be kept in a small 10 gallon aquarium. Their tank should be kept around 86*F and they cannot be housed with other animals because they will try to eat anything that moves!

What kind of Frog are you?

Also known as the Smiling Tree Frog or Dumpy Tree Frog due to the nature of its appearance, this frog is a very hardy creature and a favorite pet of amateur frog owners, although some pet owners complain that they are not active enough. These frogs love to eat, which can make them quite fat, hence their “dumpy” appearance. Unlike many frogs, these frogs do well with other frogs of their species and are fairly friendly. They like a warm and moderately humid habitat and eat larger insects like crickets, cockroaches, locusts, moths and beetles.

Poor Mary… She’s having allergy trouble after yesterday’s field trip.

…was pretty good. I went to my first sci-fi convention, did some spring cleaning and went to check out Andrew’s picture at the county public school art show.

So… my kids have a 2nd day off school (see my husband’s post to find out why)… they are happy to have off school but a bit tired of the snow.

I did not finish “boomsday”…. i just couldn’t. The idea was good but the story did not engage me. I’m reading “Child of a Dead God” now…. and have been for WAY TO LONG… I do not have enough time to read anymore.

I started reading “Boomsday” at my husband’s suggestion… it’s ok. But I’m going to set that aside for the next 2 days and reread “Coraline” before we go to see the movie this weekend.
